Front Desk Administrator

Position Overview

Our Front Desk Administrator (FDA) will provide administrative support on various projects and act as our reception/welcome point-person for visitors and provide excellent customer experience to both internal and external customers. Our FDA will greet customers and answer questions and be able to explain AHS policies at our Campus for Compassion.

Essential Functions

  • Greet the public and provide an excellent customer experience providing information as requested.
  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide executive staff administrative support as assigned. This may include scheduling, mailings, data entry, meeting planning, and special projects.
  • Coordinate deliveries, notification and in-kind donation items.
  • Process outgoing mail, maintain office supply inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience:

Five+ years of experience in an administrative office role.

Knowledgeable and competent in customer experience.

Must possess excellent customer service skills and present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

Must have excellent written, verbal, and email communication skills.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Language Able to speak, read, write and understand English. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Mathematical Basic

Technical Must perform, and may be tested during in the interview process, administrative duties utilizing the software provided, including but not limited to Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), cloud-based software, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn software quickly.

Other:

Regular attendance, punctuality, and access to reliable transportation required.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
